Back 40 Art and Photography by Fred
Being an avid lover of the backcountry, I'm fortunate enough to see a more intimate side of "the natures" than most. My goal is to capture that intimacy through my photography and bring it to your front door. Also I collect old, vintage newspapers from around the world because the majority of the ads were illustrations beautifully drawn by an artist unfortunately long forgotten. I cut, arrange and frame the illustrations honoring the gallery quality work that was once a mere ad for underwear/refrigerator/furniture, etc… reimagining them as a "vintage mosaic" if you will.
